About

A story is a memory waiting to be written.

Writing has been with me since 3rd grade. Often I would sit in my room, notebook in hand, and write what I felt. I could be myself when I immersed my emotions in the moment and let my mind flow free. From my heart, I placed what I felt onto the paper through the vehicle of a story.

Then I had a dream where I was held captive on a planet for five years, and a man, one who was enslaved as I, saved me. The dream stayed with me. It was different, not like the normal dreams you have and sluff off. That's when I decided to write it down. I thought of the title, named the characters, wrote the Lament, and selected a Bible verse to represent the heart of the story. Then I sat down and the story just came out. It was like I was writing a memory.

Every book I have written started the same way, from a dream, always the climax or ending. What just came out was the beginning and the middle of the story. Am I channeling? Or a vessel? Perhaps they are my past lives? I don't know. I wrote what I felt and when I finished, each book was a well-rounded novel. Research was minimal since my subconscious released the storyline into my consciousness. I merely brought it to life on paper. In some ways, I guess I did live it because it was a joy to author.

Thank you for inviting me into your group. It is a privilege and an honor. Without readers, I would be lost. I am indebted for this opportunity.
